Meet Shannon, your travel curator
I believe in:
Transparent pricing. Insider access to experiences you won’t find online. Insight from locals who live in your destination. Exclusive hotel perks. Personalized journeys.
I don’t believe in:
Chasing commissions. Murky pricing. Cookie-cutter packages. Ticking boxes just to say you’ve been there.
That’s why I started Get Uncomfy. Travel has become too transactional when it should be inspiring, eye-opening, and a little uncomfy (in the best ways).
I draw on over a decade of organizing chaos in financial services, my own travel to 30+ countries, and a global network of partners to create your perfect trip.

Featured: Jes from Kumarakom, India
Nestled near the ocean, my village instilled in me a profound love for fish and bustling markets. My journey led me from the shores of my hometown to the diverse cuisines of Europe during my engineering studies. While my technical background afforded me the chance to live abroad and pursue a master’s in electronics, my true calling emerged: the culinary arts.
After 5.5 years of European life, I returned home, and destiny introduced me to a friend’s friend. Today, we proudly run a homestay, cooking experience, and tour operator in Kumarakom, a picturesque village embraced by backwaters. Our philosophy is rooted in sustainability, ensuring that every program we conduct benefits the community.
